I'm happy because

I am happy because

• Feline Pine smells a lot better than normal kitty litter, and it’s pretty cheap, too.
• Little DeeDee is super smart, and loves to talk about sealife, especially Shamu whales (Orcas).
• Corn on the cob is in season, so it’s super duper cheap everywhere I go!  It’s one of our family favorites, so we eat a TON of it this time of year!

I’m happy because

• Beating up your ex-spouse in a dream, in front of his new fiance, while screaming at him all of the things that he’d ever done to break your heart (and all of the things he did to others in his life because of his on-going sex addiction) . . . well, it can actually be rather theraputic!  I’m not normally a violent person!  LoL
• I got my car insurance issue taken care of, so there will not be a lapse in covereage.  It’s awesome.
• The weather outside is cool, it feels absolutely beautiful!  I wish every day felt this nice outside!

I am happy because

• Cold cereal is a huge hit for dinner when you don’t feel up to cooking.
• Tomorrow is my day off, so I am going to be able to get some really big “to dos” done.
• Flip flops.  Need I say more?

I’m happy because

• Cats don’t always land on their feet.  Watching them fall on their faces while playing at being supercat can make the whole family crack up laughing.
• Twitchy, our kitten, just attacked her own reflection in the sliding glass door, which is something our old cat, Holiday, used to do.  It made us all smile, and giggle a little bit, thinking that Twitchy might be “channeling Holiday”. 
• The house is full of laughter tonight.  Nothing makes a mom happier than the sound of laughing children!

I am happy because

• I slept in until 6:30 a.m. this morning, which means none of my kids woke me up before hand due to some crisis or another.  It was awesome.
• I have a nice pair of shoes for work, so when I get home from work my feet don’t feel like they are going to fall off anymore.
• I was able to take an uninterrupted shower today!  No one barged into the bathroom to ask me a question or use the potty.  No one ran the water in another room causing my water to suddenly change temps.  The kids were with R and M, so I was free to enjoy a nice, long shower!

I’m happy because

• I have a sweet daughter who knows how to give a really nice arm massage when you have sore, achey muscles.
• I have another daughter who will help me to tidy up around the house when I ask her to.
• I have air conditioning.

I am happy because

• I only had four children in my primary class today, which made for an easy time teaching.
• My sunburn is giving me a good excuse to stay indoors (out of the sun) and get plenty of rest!
• I have a portable DVD player with, like, a 9 inch screen that the kids can watch, because our television is broken.  It has super low volume and a tiny picture, so they have to get really close to it to see and hear, and they have to be super silent to be able to hear it at all.  Therefore, it’s quiet in the house right now!  Awesome!

I’m happy because

• Today I saw a lot of Arizona’s beautiful wildlife, mostly the scaled sort.  My favorite was the chuckwalla!  What a large lizard!
• Amber had an opportunity to go to Gila Valley to see tour the new temple there, and she’s back and all sorts of bubbley about it!
• Rebecca, Robbie, Denise, and I, hiked up the Wind Cave Trail @ Usury Park today – and we made it all of the way to the top!  We enjoyed beautiful vistas the entire way, and though there were parts that were difficult to do, none of the kids complained, not even once, about it!  It was fabulous, and only cost $6 (for parking) – that’s much cheaper than taking them to see a movie – and we really had a great time!  (I only wish my camera charger could be found so that I could have charged and then used my camera!  There was so much to photograph out there!!!)

I’m happy beacause

• Today I got off of work early enough to get to the school in time to see my beautiful Becca sing her solo!
• I have been blessed with a very musically talented daughter!
• I won a raffle for a basket of pampered chef stuff, and it’s all very fancy-schmancy stuff!  I love it!

I’m happy because

• The doc is running some tests, so that we can get some direction as to where to go next, and I’m glad to finally be doing something about my health!
• It’s going to rain tonight, and the air smells so . . . delicious!
• I have lots of drinking water, and I’m thirsty so that’s a really good thing.
